Mother's Day

The most beautiful and unparalleled bond of love shared between kids and mothers was honoured at SRS Global school Meerut on 24th may 2023.


On Mother's Day, people often express their gratitude and affection through various gestures such as giving cards, flowers, gifts, or organizing special activities. Many families choose to spend quality time together, have meals together, or plan outings and outings to make their mothers feel special. Some people also take the opportunity to make charitable donations or volunteer for causes that support mothers and children in need.


The origins of Mother's Day can be traced back to ancient civilizations, but the modern celebration of Mother's Day began in the early 20th century. The efforts of Anna Jarvis, an American social activist, played a significant role in establishing Mother's Day as a recognized holiday. Today, Mother's Day is celebrated in numerous countries worldwide and holds great cultural significance as a day to honor and appreciate mothers.


Students of various age groups performed songs, dances, and recited poems dedicated to their mothers. The heartfelt performances filled the atmosphere with warmth and joy as the children expressed their deep love and respect for their mothers. The highlight of the day was a special assembly where each class presented a tribute to the mothers, emphasizing how they are the guiding lights in their lives, always providing support, encouragement, and unconditional love.


In keeping with the tradition of honoring mothers, the students had also prepared handmade cards, gifts, and personalized messages that were presented to their mothers during the event. These tokens of love served as a beautiful reminder of the special place that mothers hold in their hearts. Many students shared touching stories and memories of how their mothers had shaped their lives, demonstrating the immense impact mothers have on their children’s growth and development.
